I was called for an interview and at same time was told to bring my passport, please I would love to know if it´s the normal way of passport request (PR). how is the interview questions like ?.

I just attended an interview, and after the interview I was told by the immigration officer that they´ll go on more investigation, please what is this investigation for.

I am sorry for late answer, is there any news about your application? My husband had interview at Canadian embassy in Vienna last December, and at the end of interview they told him same thing :they need to do more research, but also they gave him to do medical, now we are still waiting. Do you know something about they work and process?

My Own case is the same but some how different, I did and submitted everything including medicals when I applied and paid the necessary fees but I don´t know why they are still holding me after the interview and how long the background check will last. Where exactly is your husband staying which city to be precise so that we can communicate in person. I wish to hear more from you.

i was called for an interview in march and after the interview the officer give me back all my documents and take my passport and told me to come back in the second week in april.

i took my medicals on Nov2, 2007, i have not received any correspondence from Buffalo since then, i emailed them twice, only reply i got "in process" and they cant tell how long will it take. Are they going thru Background check(if so, I sent the police report from my home country around last week of nov, 2007 and also got my finger printing done in Feb, 2007). So what do you guys think?
