Hi Alex1919,

Do you mind sharing when you had your Infopass appointment? Thanks.

Went to Infopass last Friday 8/24 and learned that my name check is cleared and awaiting IO's review. The IO that I met stated that my case is "pre-adjudicated"(yes, this is the wording she used) and it will likely take about 90 days before receive approval notice. They are waiting for visa to be available.

I had made three phone calls to TSC and spoke with 3 different IO's prior to the appointment. Basically, the information I got is pretty much the same, more or less.

You can go to USCIS website and make an appointment. I think it all depends on how busy your local immigration office is. They give 15 minutes to each appointment, 9AM-5PM. There is a schedule shows you what's available and what's taken once you get in the catagory.

Thanks a lot, RCESAR and CADP. I guess it will depend on how luncky I am with IO....
I haven't got any updates on my case since 140 and 485 were filed and it's been about 9 months. I know there are people out there have been waiting much longer, even for years but I just can't sit there and wait. Getting an Infopass appointment is just the first move for my being passive agressive and easing my frustration...well maybe.

Hi folks,

Does any one have good experience at InfoPass appointment? Is it really helpful in terms of triggering your case? Any tips in getting info from IO? Have an appointment with InfoPass in a week. Much appreciated your comments and opinions.
