Topic: GC..Travel related questions

I got the GC approved on 12th.. I expect to receive the GC card in next 2 weeks.
I have few question related to travel outside of US..

1. I am assuming I need to carry my passport and GC while travelling outside US.. (I dont need to carry the visa papers of my L1A or EAD or Advanced Parol).. Please confirm...

2. Same goes for my son.. whose GC is also approved..Please confirm

3. My wife has a RFE (most likely vaccination record.. she is pregnant and did not take MMR vaccination). Her EAD, AP has been approved. Can she travel outside US now? What documents does she need to carrry when she travels outside US?

4. She was on L2 , which expires in September 11th 2010.. I am assuming this expiry does not have any impact on her travel outside country..Please confirm
Also the L2 is not stamped (she has stayed with me from Jan 2006, and we did an extension of L2 in 2008, and she did no get out of country.. so the extended visa was not stamped on passport)

5. If we leave on april 15th and come back on may 12th..she is ok to do it? She just needs approved AP , passport..please confirm and explain any other document needs

Topic: RFE..vaccination needs

I had mine and my son's GC approved on 12th March. (EB1C- applied on Jan 12th)
My wife has received an RFE..

While we did the Medical checkup for 485.. we could not get her MMR vaccine as she is pregnant.... (She is due in August 10 till 15th time)...
So her vaccination was obviously not complete...

I know the RFE is for her to complete the vaccination...
My question is... will this initial RFE give us time till August 30th (160 to 170 days)or so to get the vaccination issue figured out (she cannot take live virus vaccine till she delivers)
My attorney says.. we will typically be able to get extension or get additional RFE...
Please throw some light here..

Topic: Need Help - L1B- L1A and then GC

Little background
I am on L1B, expiring on Aug 2010 (5 years complete)
My GC processing is supposed to start on Ocrtober 09 (Next 3 months, internal beuracracy!!!)
I have now been told that, first converting to L1A and then once approved for L1A applying for GC is a good option.
(BTW - I am IT manager for a outsourcing service provider, with 12 years of experience)
Please help me to understand if this a good option. I was told applying under EB1 is a speedy option and GC might come with in 12 to 18 months.

So should I take a the chance of L1B to L1A then GC or ask my company to file for GC on L1B

Topic: Stupid Mistake - What will happen next?Anxious.

I was requested to submit all my documents to Buffalo on 14th April.
I submitted all documents on 29th June. I got AOR from Buffalo on 10th July.

My stupid mistake : While sending all documents i checked/checked for all docs to be correct. But one mistake was leaving out PCC for my wife's stay in California FY 2006-2007.(for about 18 months). I forgot it in my Copy machine at home. (I had all other PCC for her from age 18,except this).

So today while copying something else, I found this out and was shocked/upset.
So what i did today was , I took copy of the AOR letter, the california PCC for my wife, and wrote a coverig letter explaining what had happened. I put all these 3 documents and sent a express overnight FEDEX to buffalo office. (The documents sent - Covering letter, copy of the AOR letter, CA PCC). the documents will reach monday morning at Buffalo.

Let me know what will happen now. Will they add it to the file or send the whole application back stating incomplete. (My eCAS status shows Documents recieved and Buffalo may contact you).

I am anxious on this.. Let me know your views
