Topic: Family status change after IA

Hi,

Let's say all requested docs are sent after IA and medicals are done. If my wife gets pregnant after medicals and before PPR request will it hamper or delay the process. When is the right time to send updates in such situation?

Also, if i have a new passport before PPR can i take the old and new passport for stamping directly or do i need to send a copy to CIC before PPR?

I would appreciate your inputs.

Thanks & Regards,

AP

Topic: Elapsed time

Elapsed time is the time between your first and last entry of dates....It is probably the oveall time taken to get the visa.

Topic: Do I need to send IELTS results to CIC myself?

Here is a suggestion and the decision is yours....I think you should send one more copy of ur original IELTS score. It is right that the scores cud be sent directly and it is also rigth that u will not be notified by CIC but how do you confirm that the scores have actually been sent and even if it is sent it is received by the right people....It doesn't cost much if you courier an original report and ask for a acknowledgement receipt. That cud also act as ur proof copy that u did send the score and it was received by buffalo. What do you think? After all you are taking a big chance investing time and money and out here I feel time is the critical factor....

You cannot send two scores two make up for the points. The latest scores will only be considered.

Topic: IF Canada PR is in process, Can sombody move from USA???????

u need not stay in the US while the process is on.It shd not be a permanent move though.U shd keep CIC informed of you change of address. There is no harm in going out of US during the application process.

Topic: Did not send IELTS and University Transcripts in sealed envelope

U need not send IELTS results in a sealed envelope. However, U had to send ur transcripts from ur University in a university sealed envelope. It is really difficult to answer if they will reject it but it cud be possible that they ask you to send again in ubiversity sealed envelope. Now, I know things are difficult in India but do you think it's impossible to get ur transcripts in a sealed envelope till you receive ur AOR and other requests? In worst case if they send ur file back u will be ready with the docs.Incase they have no queries you will be lucky enough and may be you can keep those transcripts for future.

Better late than never!!!

Topic: Police Certificate, please help

Hi,

You get your PCC from the Indian Consulate. Watever it is you need two. One for the principal applicant and other for the dependent. Also, for the finger printing you need to send $36 as the cost is $18 per person.I applied to Buffalo and did the same.I wonder why you did not send it in the beginning cos the check list sks for everything other than medicals right?
