Called again today (1PM PST). Was told to contact the FBI.

Whats absurd is that the person told me that Name Check has nothing to Immigration, and its an FBI issue.

I woke up really late today so couldnt call earlier.

05/28/2008: Email from CRIS titled -- Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.
05/28/2008: Email from CRIS titled -- Current Status: Card production ordered.
06/02/2008: Email from CRIS titled -- Current Status: Approval notice sent.
06/03/2008: Approval notice received.
06/04/2008: Green Card received.

Is there a way to find FBI Name Check to see if its pending?

I just tried the number and options that I had posted above. I think I called in too late (just before 4 PM PST). If I heard corrrectly, the call was routed to National Service Center, since Neb Service Center. The customer rep, was courteous, but didnt provide much information on my FBI Name Check.

I will try again a little earlier, next time.

the number on the back of the card will be 1-800-375-5283 options 12261 Receipt nos then 134. There are occasions where the phone will keep ringing for 4 to 5 min but dont loose hope let it keep ringing, someone will surely answer the phone.



I will try it myself to see if my Name Check is through, since approval in not a guarantee of Name Check Clearnce.
