Well it does not take a genius to figure out the system does not work like this? Why not have one agency set the dates and process the applications. I dont understand why this is so difficult.

I just got a 2 YR EAD extension, and now I am realizing this might mean at least 1 more year wait for GC approval. Is this true? I dont understand why they update the montly VISA bulletins when there processing so slow? Why not retrogress all the dates, so when one becomes current they can get a realistic idea when the approval will come!

Hey quick question, I noticed a SOFT LUD on my i140 case on 4/26/08, and then a SOFT LUD on 5/18 on my i485 case. I changed my address with USCIS on May 2nd, so I assume this is why there is a LUD on my i485 on May 18. But why would there be a SOFT LUD on the i140 on 4/26/08 when it was already approved back in July 07.

Any thoughts?

My aunt recieved the same message, when she calls USCIS they verify her address, and dont give anymore info. about the letter. It has been over 30days for her and she has yet to recieve it, and he lawyer keeps saying dont worry about it. It sounds strange!
