Topic: Suggestions for improving trackitt

I believe more focus is needed on the USA Immigration Tracker section in the home page.. maybe an icon beside the section title..

Topic: Suggestions for improving trackitt

1. In the tracker page, multiple sorting ability (e.g. sorting with approval date and then with RFE date).
2. In the tracker page, user's selected sorting order is saved in cookies for future browsing.
3. No email notification is necessary to the watching users if a watched user just was keeping his status active (without updating any field in his profile).

Topic: I-765 filling help needed for options 14 & 15 (Used AP and continued working on H1B)

I believe you cannot work with your H1B if you entered the US using your AP. To work with H1B you need to enter the US with your H1B (stamped in the passport), otherwise you have to use your EAD for working if you used AP for entering.
I'm not a lawyer and the above statement is not a legal advise. You need to consult an immigration lawyer for the right answers.

Supertrooper,

If you write on Q15 H1B temporary worker, you do not need EAD. You should write I-485 pending because EAD is for AOS applicants.

RB

The true "current" status for Q15 is indeed H1B Temp worker if you have NOT activated your EAD already. One is attaching I485 receipt with the documents to show that eligibility is due to AOS pending.

the law is to issue EAD to AOS pending applicants within 90 days of application. If the applicant continues to retain H1 or use EAD is at the applicant's discretion.

i sent it with this answer last time and had no issues. Have sent renewal app with the same answer this time as well...

Topic: EAD renewal app where to submit?

I filed paper based. Also I called USCIS to ask about that and they just opened the instructions and advised to send the EAD renewal application based on where I live, not where my I-485 application is (my I-485 was sent to TSC last year but then it was transferred to NSC).

Check the I-765 form instructions, you should send the form based on where you live, not on where your papers are.

Topic: Question#14

I entered Adjustment of Status (pending). Some users on trackitt said they did the same and it was accepted. I just sent the I-765 form and will wait to see if it will be accepted.
