I am from India EB2 and I have my GC already but I was CC'd to Sri Lanka .
I will suggest you call the Service center , set up an infopass etc and explain the situation on CC.
MY attorney sent 4reminders to USCIS on my Cross Chargeability.

I was told my attorney that my sponsoring company can send me out of the country for no more than 2 years at a stretch and no more than 2 times which means one can be out for no more than 4 years . You have to apply for a Returning Resident Permit before you leave the country . You definetely have to talk to an attorney.. |

You do not have to sit by your computer 24/7 .
This is what I did and it worked . My outlook was set up recieving the pop emails from Yahoo. I programmed the outlook in such a way that once the email from CRIS LANDS in my inbox My favourite songs starts playiing automatically at a high volume
I recieved my emails CPO at 11.20 am and the Approval Notice at 12.15 am |

Before the attorney could inform the uscis on the approval of another petition for self and spouse , we got the following notice from USCIS on the pending petition . So if you have 2 485 petitions , after one is approved the USCIS will deny the other .

I got laid off and my last day is July 11th or 18th . The only thing my lawyer said was to keep a copy of the Lay off Notice from the company for future .
