Topic: No one wants to hire Indians

iyerwall, you should change the headline, since you cant say that you represent all indians and there is a discrimination. You should change that to nobody wants to hire me due to current market situation and my location preferences. When US citizens are available with the right skills they will be preferred and there should not be anything wrong in that.

Topic: question on cross-chargeability

optmism

Cross chargeability is used when spouse 485 is filed and dependent's country of birth is not retrogressed.so you dont need to wait if on eb2

Topic: Processing Times are out

I did not understand why processing is backlogged for EB3 eventhough eb2 also is equally backlogged. looks like PPS is coming after few months based on nsc and eb2 processing dates movements

Topic: question on cross-chargeability

Yo can apply for cross-chargeability ,but it makes sense to do in eb2 since eb3 is backlogged provided you are eligible for eb2

thanks gcby30.but why eb3 only ? .also there is some talk of retrogression for eb3. TSC is backlogged for all Eb categories .are these changes for reducing workload due to upcoming h1b filing

Topic: Cop stopped me and asked where do I work

I also was stopped by a COP in MI , but he was very courteous , it was due to brake lights not working and he has every right to stop. Even if they ask abt work place , it should be a friendly question than immigration enforcement since its USCIS who need to enforce it.Nothing wrong in telling the COP the details since all of us are legally here.

Topic: Concurrent filing I-140 & I-485

your employer is correct . you need to file 140 now if you are in employment based advanced skill category and wait until date is current to file 485
