Great, thanks for the info.

It was just that 1st Contact told me that the earliest you can apply is 5weeks prior to expiry. But there is nothing stating that on the Home Office website.... Maybe that is just something they are telling Immigration Lawyers/Specialists but doesn't apply to individuals applying I guess?
Or, it could just be that 1st Contact are full of sh_t.

Hi,

Just wondering, I have a HSMP that was approved under the rules commencing 5th Dec 2006. So my visa expires 6th Dec 2008.

I have seen a few comments on the earliest possible submission time being 5 weeks prior to expiry. Just wondering has anyone applied yet for a visa expiring in December?
