Topic: Camilla pls advice

My AOR date is March, 2003 and now in November, 2008 they asked for papers update for my family. One of the daughters is working so I had to delete her name from the dependents. After submitting the papers, I received my medical in March, 2009 for rest of the family except her. CIC asked for PPs for rest of the family and educational qualifications details of my non-depedent daughter alongwith landing and processing fee. Now they have sent her medical and asked for PCC alongwith PPs for all the members of the family.

Now the question is whether medical for my non-dependent daughter means they are considering her case, but they have not asked for her processing fee. I am confused and would like to know if my daughter is being considered for PR.

Please guide me...

Topic: Medical received - Elder daughter independent - papers asked for by CHC.

I am 54 years old and have received a few days back medical exam papers. My eldest daughter is working and not dependent upon me. She is around 27 years old and is still unmarried. CHC have asked for filling up application form for applicant, Schedule-I- Background/Declaration, and Additional family information, her Educational documents, Passport copy and date of Birth certificates for her.

While submitting updated my papers in December, 2008, I had given in writing that she is now no more dependent upon me. It is not understood as to why they have asked for her papers now.

Can anybody throw some light on this and give me their valuable suggestion/comments regarding this.

Thanx for your reply in advance.

Topic: Request to All : Canada Immigration Processing time in India ( Under NEW RULE)

The processing time in India for immigration is not less than 6 years now. It all depends whether your occupation is under the urgent requirement of NOC of their occupation list.

With the scenario all around the world, can this possible to get job in Canada. What is the rate of unemployment in Canada now a days, where each and every company is downsizing its staff because of cost cutting. Can anybody throw a bit light on this.

How much the nothern american country, Canada, is affected by the neighbour's economy. Pl do send your views on this. This is very important for prospective immigrants willing to go leaving all the settled life behind.

Topic: Interpreting file #

Hi everybody,

Recently my papers have been updated in December 08 and on enquiry it was learnt that still those who updated in June/July have been called for medical. This may take another 4-6 months for medical. Why this process is slow, when they have offloaded their visa work to some private agency. It should be fast. CHC people are very irritating and they are taking their own time and by the time your turn comes, priorities change altogether.

Can anybody say about it.

Topic: NOW 54 YEARS WHAT THE SCOPE IN STORE IN CANADA

I am now 54 years and have got a call for updating the papers. I dont know what is in store for me there in Canada, if I get a chance to go there. One daughter is working and is 27 years old not yet married. other one is studying B.Sc (Genetics) in Bangalore and son is doing Plus Two Nonmedical. Wife is also working and now a days having good income and well settled with properties in India.

AFter six years priorities have changed altogether. Elder one cannot go there because of her service. Or is there any chance for her (She is HR Executive in one of good companies of KPO in Gurgaon having qualification M.Sc (IT) and MBA). What shall be our children's future there. Can we adjust to the environment at this age.

Anybody can help me????

Thanx for your reply. However, i fear my age being 54 years, will that be any impediment in my immigration and my family. friends, if anybody having such a case, their views are welcome.

My AOR is 13-03-2003, but still there is no response from CHC and am worried the people who applied after me are getting interview/medical calls. Can anybody explain. Mine is skilled worker category.

I have already crossed 53 Years of my life. Whether my case can be accepted or not. When I talked to my agent a fews days before, he told that it will take another year for either medical or interview. IELTS already done in Jan 2003 then resubmitted my application, as they were not accepting applications without IELTS. In this age priorities already changed. Children grown up and would like to go for their further studies.

What can be the action by CHC Delhi? Suggestions welcome from friends on line.
