Topic: December 2016 visa bulletin prediction !!

As per CO statement,

1) He will move 12 months ( 1Nov'07-01Nove'08) with in next 4 months (1Apr'17). Which means on an average 3 months.
2) But he also added that minimum movement will be 4 months and maximum movement can be 9 months.
Theses are two contradictory statements. Why?
Even if he moves dates by minimum 4 months, it will cover one year in next three months.

Am I thinking wrong?

These estimations are based on April'16 I485 pending publication. I am not sure about other categories, but EB2 I must have quite a lot in next publication.

First, We all know the truth. But there are times in life, when we want to believe in everything which suits us, that's what I call worshipping false Gods. We become so much valuable at times when depression and anxiety takes us over, that we start believing every thing. FYI, this is big business in India. Nirmal baba Ko Koti-Koti pernam. His darbar sessions are sold out. There is reason for it. These baba say what people want to hear.

Secondly, If you have noticed I don't reply to posts of the person mentioned in above threads. I have nothing personal against him/her. " internal source" is not good enough reason for me to believe. For some people it is good reason and I am fine with it.

Technically this thread should go into history books as new VB is published.

****Peace****

You must do two things right away ( may be today):

1) Raise SR
2) Contact Senator and Congressman/Congresswomen.

On side note if your medicals are more than year old. Get it done and keep it ready. I know there is some risk, but it is worth taking.

I am strong believer in data.

Here is previous year data FY'16 for EB2I:

Oct'15: 01 May'05
Nov'15: 01 Aug'06 (15 months jump)
Dec'15: 01 Jun'07 ( (12 months jump)

Dates should move faster than 4 months. It is not that it fits my narrative. But we have to note several things and take cue from it:

1) How USCIS dates moved in the past Years during Oct-Dec.
2) Recent statement, where CO said that they will make effort to bring back dates to pre retrogression level soon.
3) The pending numbers ( per Apr'16 pub), till late 2008 are in double digits only. The problem starts after Oct/Nov' 08.

I do understand that there is more porting and US ( read desi) companies have hired more "international managers" since last year.

Topic: November 16 VB is out

I would call it good movement. Better than expected. However in FY 2016 , the movement was 15 months , from Oct'15 to Nov' 15. Also in June'16, CO mentioned that he will try to bring back dates soon to pre retrogration dates I.e Nov' 2009.

Once again CO did not follow his word for "good".

An accurate characterization of two countries....

Does not look like the VB coming out today. Every year, every month, it is the same story.....

You are right. No hope of VB today. Not that I will be current, but there is always a certain level of anxiety.** SSDD**

I agree, more than 100% with each and every word you said.

But to do all this we don't need any legal status to help our beloved country ( if that is my dream). That is my point.

I loved your dream. But my friend, you can still do it. Work for underprivileged. It doesn't require any legal status in US.

Lets be honest, we are here to fulfill economic needs and have better lifestyle for ourselves and our family. Other than that it is all BS.

I had a similar dream 10 years back that my US passport has expired and I have to travel abroad next day.
I quickly got up and checked my passport. Alas!! I found 4 lions were still sitting there, haven't moved an inch. I was expecting an eagle.

Update: 10 years down. 4 Lions are still in charge of my passport.** Satya Mev Jayate** ( Truth will prevail)...will it?

I know the situation has changed ( with porting and EB1C India). But last year dates moved amazingly for EB2(I):

Oct'15: 01 May'05
Nov'15: 01 Aug'06

However the filing date remained same i.e. 01 Jul'09.

Topic: not all Employment history mentioned during PERM

HI. My I-140 is approved and Applying for I-485. In I-485 stage Attorney asked to provide 5 years of Employment history. I started working in US from June 2013 from OPT but for PERM we only provided employer history from April 2014 till July 2015 because the job requirement needed from time period April 2014 till July 2015 were sufficient enough to get the PERM approved. Please note that from July 2015 I started working for the sponsoring employer.
My question is
1. Is it going to be a problem that we did not provide any information about other employers for which I worked from June 2013 till Aug 2014.
2. Can USCIS raise any issue on this point. Please note that we are providing complete employment history from June 2013 in I-485 stage only.

Same thing happened to me. My PERM was approved with 2 years experience. Hence my attorney supplied only two years of experience.

I think if later USCIS needs more info they will raise RFE.

My point is that porting is "ongoing" process. It is going on as we speak. Now more and more people are using porting as they know that EB3I is hopeless category. This porting is adversely affecting the original EB2 filers ( people who initially filed as EB2I). Just imagine that if other 900-1000 Eb3I 2006-2008 applicants port. In that retrogression will start much earlier than Apr/May 2017. Even CO reasoned the June 2016 Eb2I retro due to over subscription of EB1C and Porting.

I am very positive person. But we need to see the data also when we estimate.

When I look at 2015 new filer's threads. New members in tarckitt and the trackitt I485 tracker, the increase in EB2 I will be exponential.

Can you please read post # 328 , #331, #334 on this thread. We were discussing same thing. However others disagreed me on this. What is your view?

I suggested that there is heavy porting from 2005- 2009, and movement will be difficult for EB2I.

Dude why u wasting time when CO has explicitly said that the dates will move 4 maths in each VB

Actually you are right. But we have seen that CO did not follow through what he said in the past. I am not denying that he will not follow this time around. Data do suggest that dates don't move much in first four months except 2015.

Topic: November 2016 Visa Bulletin Predictions

I just pulled the data and wanted to analyze how dates moved from Oct to Jan bulletins ( 04 months) for FY 2010 till 2016.

Here is what I found the movement for the first 4 months of previous 6 years

2010: the dates remained same i.e. 08may06
2011: the dates moved from 15Jul07 to 01Jan 09 ( 16.5 months positive )
2012: the dates retrograted from 15 Sep 07 to 01Sep 07 ( 15 days negative)
2013: the dates retrograted from 15Jun 08 to 05 Nov 04 ( 3 plus year negative)
2014: the dates retrograted from 01May09 to 15Feb 05 ( approx 4 year negative)

Things were different in

2015: the dates moved 01May 05 to 01Feb 08 ( biggest positive movement 33 months)
2016: 15jan 07

Now you do the maths and estimate.

My PD is Jan 26, 2009. What is your considered view on this date? Will it see light by end of this calendar year?

Sir, please worshiping false Gods. Trust me no one knows, how dates are gonna move.

I know we are all emotionally weak at this point of time. People take advantage, just for fun. But don't let anyone make a fool out of us. This is not Hydrabad ( for that matter any city), where you get such information.

Topic: EB2 priority date is current for 2008 India (Prediction)

There is nothing weird in this. Please read how they are calculating the dates. As of now they are basing their calculation on 01st Apr 2016, I-485 pending inventory. but we all know that is irrelevant. We all need to wait for Jul or Oct I-485 pending inventory. Unless we don't have that data, it is difficult if not immpossible to predict the dates.

Can you elaborate on "Your dates will become current in 2017 for sure but that does not guarantee GC. Thats the hard reality."

He is right. Even with dates current, one is not guaranteed to get GC, as this has happened to so many people in past.

In current scenario, the dates will move forward till Apr/May'17 and then retro will start. So the applicants whose dates are current in early part on next year may not get GC in FY17. For Example, my PD is May 2008 and RD May 2016. I expect to be current in Jan-Mar'17. but again, if my file is not picked up for any reason e.g RFE or BC, and if retro starts then I will have to wait again till the dates become current. Unfortunately, that's how the process is designed.
