Normally one needs to wait for atleast 3 months after medicals. This is the duration when they do a background check and any other "unknown" formalities. If you have waited for that long, I suggest to order CAIPS notes. You can find information abt how to get these from internet.
Transferring to a local office is just to offload Buffalo consulate. Dont u worry, most of the ppl are in same boat once medicals are done :) |

Most of the cases - IELTS is required. Yeah some (very few) ppl can be lucky :). However submitting this ensure you will get points whethre in lucky list or not. This also ensures that your app will not be delayed due to reason that consulate asks for submitting IELTS and then u need to get a date for exam. |

Working in Canada means you have arranged employment. This will sure help. However any employer doesnot easily go for this option - they first need to check that the reqd talent is not available in Canada and so to invite foreign nationals. |

Doesnt understand what exactly you are trying to ask? However here are some responses based upon my understandings...
1. If you are trying to ask abt your Passport expiry, then you should check with Consulate. Normally a visa should be ending before your passport expiry. There is also a provision to put the same visa on your new passport but PLEASE ENSURE that.
2. Your stamped visa is valid till one year of your medical date. If you recd visa after 8 months of medical then its only valid for 4 months.

Are you saying that u missed the 60 days deadline?? Usually they mention a date before which the passport should reach. I am not sure whether they will accept now but really surprised how u missed? |

They do a background check once your IA is done. So they may be able to track any kinda incident. However I am not sure what type of incidents are acceptable and what not. |
