Topic: Tax Stimulus: non resident will not get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys, simple.. When you become resident for TAX purposes, you pay Social Security... If you are paying Social Security, then you must be a resident for Tax purposes, which means you are elgible for Stimulus.

Resident for Tax purposes is not equivalent to having a Green Card... You might be on an F1 for more than five years, then you are considered a resident for TAX purposes... The rule of thumb again is if you are paying Social Security or not.

Topic: Why NSC dates went back?

The question was:
---- Why NSC dates went back?

The answer is:
---- Why not?

NSC rules!!

NSC should be nominated to some quality service award like ISO 9001,000,000 or something like that :)

Topic: What needs to be done after you get the GC?

There is one thing you forgot Raul77, which is the Social Security card... You need to update it and get one that does not state restrictions etc..

In fact, here is a related link:

mikees,

Make sure that you select to "Show all cases" and not "Show active cases only" from the pop up menu on the left!
