Hi nmaharajan,
Did you ever find out any information about your file? |
Topic: Interviews.....AOS
I came to the US on a K-1 Fiance visa since I was coming over as a fiance of an American. The K-1 visa requires that you do the I-693 medical exam by an embassy approved doctor which I did in Nairobi 9 months ago. After the exam, I was given the documents in a sealed envelope, which I was not allowed to open. The Embassy in Nairobi also gave me a big brown sealed envelope with documents in it as well. I was instructed to give my documents to the immigration officer at the port of entry and to show them my I-94, K-1 visa stamp in my passport and give them my medical exam documents in the sealed evelope from the doctor. Upon my entry to the US, I was asked by immigration for the envelope from the embassy and also the envelope from the medical exam. So I gave them the documents. Being that I have already given my documents to the immigration officer at my port of entry, I am wanting to know if I have to do the medical exam yet again and also if the Affidavit of support has to be done again since that was also a requirement of the K-1 visa which was already submitted. The affidavit of support was also already submitted with the EAD and I-485 concurrently. |

Topic: Documents to bring to I-485 Permanent Residence Interview
I have received my Interview Letter and date for the conditional green card interview. The letter has a long list of forms that I need to or may need to bring to the interview. The two items on the list that I have a question about are:
1. A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)
2. A completed Affidavit of Support (Form I-864) with all required evidence, including the following, for each of your sponsors (unless already submitted)
When I entered the US, I had given these documents to the immigration officer. Being that I gave them to the immigration office, does this mean that they should still have them on file and that I do not need to produce these items again?
Also, there is a requirement on the letter which says:
3. All dcumentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status.
What documents are they speaking of? |

Topic: Time between EAD/AP receival and Interview notice
I received my EAD/AP July 15th and received my interview letter September 15th. So it took exactly 2 months to get the interview letter. The date for the interview is November 5th. I hope this helps. |
Topic: National Benefits Center Internal Approval Process Flow
I also came across this site which gives details about the NBC.
http://www.usaimmigrationattorney.com/NewSite/NationalBenefitsCenter.htm (National Benefits Center Details)
On this site they also have a flow chart of how their internal process works using a visio flow. I'm not sure how old this is though.

Topic: National Benefits Center Internal Approval Process Flow
After doing some searching online, I found a site which shows the process that the National Benefits Center (aka NBC and MSC) follows from beginning to end when they receive various visa and EAD applications. Does anyone know if this is still current?

Topic: Trackitt Admin: request to add MSC/NBC to the drop down for Service center
I agree. Please add NBC to the service center dropdown list. My EAD request was sent to that center and it is still there. |
