Topic: AP renewal - soft LUD is this finegerprint?

Thank for the update.
Yea, I'll read the humorous post on LUD tracking, but it can't be that funny since it is affecting me now.

Topic: AP renewal - soft LUD is this finegerprint?

Did nobody experience fingerprinting during AP renewal, similar to the way I described.
I am worried since I applied it on my own and not through attorney.

Topic: AP renewal - soft LUD is this finegerprint?

I applied for Advance Parole renewal 3 months ago. I saw a soft update on the whole family today. Was wondering if it is any RFE or notice for fingerprint. It is close to 15 months since our last fingerprinting.
In case of fingerprinting, does USCIS post any clear message (hard LUD) or no? If, in fact, they have sent notice for fingerprinting, does the fingerprinting and AP approval happen in parallel or the AP approval comes only after fingerprinting is done?
Somebody with the similar experience please help me understand this.

Is the process of AP renewal different if I renew my AP after the expiry date? I am doing the AP
renewal on my own. Don't want to lose. $305 just like that.

Thanks in advance!!

You can write some date and length that you have in mind if you are planning a visit or you can also write 'multiple visits' for departure time and 'varied length' for staying time.

I have another question since I am filing AP on my own:
If my current AP has already expired, then is there something different I have to do to renew it or it's all the same.

Thanks!!!

Just got mail from USCIS.

Good, now NSC will be forced to use up the rest of the visa number (if any left by Texas).

It doesn't mean out of status. It may mean change of status if you have not changed your status to AoS already.

Topic: Theroy to how USCIS processed application

USCIS processed the application where the number of dependants were none to may be one (spouse). I am guessing those who had kids didn't get approved in most of the cases since applicant with wife and kid will take 3 visa numbers.
Any takers?
