Topic: LCA Question - Wrong Address

Thank You.

I booked for July 15th Ottawa but planning for Vancouver if I get a slot before July 15th. I think I have enough time to get new LCA if not I'll carry new LCA receipt and the letter.

Topic: LCA Question - Wrong Address

Ok, I'll ask my employer to file for new LCA, I'll show new LCA and explanation letter provided by attorney only if VO asks about this. If VO reads client and/or vendor letter properly then only he/she will find this. My current LCA and address in I129 are same.

Topic: LCA Question - Wrong Address

Attorney said, should not be a problem, he will be sending a letter explaining about the typo to show if they ask. Would it be helpful if I take a new LCA and show along with the letter provided by attorney?

Ok thank you. I'll do the same and I'll see what attorney says.

Is it required to take a new LCA now? Not sure how long it will take.

Topic: LCA Question - Wrong Address

Ok, I129 also has 100 (same as LCA). If I carry new LCA with correct address then can I explain to VO that I have been working from XX date (previous LCA start date) and still working at the same place and there was a typo in the old LCA and we corrected it in the new one.

If I take 2 LCAs which one I should show first? If this question doesn't come up (if VO sees address in the Client Letter then only VO will come to know) then I don't want to show the new one.

I just don't want to take risk if this is going to be problem.

Topic: LCA Question - Wrong Address

Thank You,

Can I give same answer to VO if this question comes up in the visa interview Or need to take some document from LCA website stating this (safe side)? I am still waiting for an answer from attorney on this.

Topic: LCA Question -- Wrong address (typo)

My employer applied for my H1B extension after changing client in Aug 2012, attorney made a mistake/typo in the client address in LCA, attorney mentioned 100 instead of 1000 in the street address (same street), My extension approved for 3 yrs (I129 also LCA address). I'll be attending for stamping in Canada after 2 weeks, I just saw this. Will this be a problem? In the client and vendor letters work address is 1000. I have asked my employer to check with Attorney on this.

Please share your thoughts.

Topic: Applying for Canada visa

You can say H1B stamping and fill address of the consulate (any consulate - no need to go to the same consulate for stamping).

Topic: visa interview dates in Vancouver, CANADA

I paid the fee and the latest date available in Vancouver is 25th september and calgary has dates available from tomorrow.

How is Calgary consulate compare to Vancouver? I have all the docs but I work in EVC model.

Is there a limit on number of times you can change the date?

I have submitted DS-160 to Vancouver, can I submit another one to Calgary and update the confirmation number during appointment booking?

Please answer.

ok Thank You, but I have to pay the fee first then only I will be able to see the available dates right. Prior to this step during registration after picking the consulate (Vancouver) it showing next available date is in 131 days, is this correct? or is it possible to get earlier date when I actually get into that step? If dates are not available (don't want to spend 190 dollars) for next couple of months then I just want to attend directly in India.

FYI...

My last H1B stamping was 6.5 yrs ago in Sydney, so I completely forgot the process.

Anyone booked recently?

Topic: H1B visa interview dates Vancouver, CANADA

Sorry, this is wrong forum for this thread but I need some responses on this.

I am planning to attend for H1B stamping in Vancouver, CANADA in July 1st/2nd week. I submitted DS-160 and during registration to book appointment (not paid fee) it is showing next available appointment is in 131 days after picking the consulate and DHS location. Calgary is showing 53 days, which is the least in all the consulates.

It means currently there are no dates available until 131 business days? or we may expect early dates availability after paying the visa fee? I don't want to pay the fee and wait for 3 to 5 months for appointment as I need to go to India in august, better I can attend in India itself. After paying the fee if the date doesn't become available for next couple months even after regular/daily check-ups, can we transfer fee to the other consulate( I mean to some consulate in India/Canada).

If anyone booked recently in Vancouver, please post your details when you booked and what date.
