Topic: EAD for H4 Visa Holders

Hi Everyone,

Is all the information on myvisajobs.com genuine or fake?

From where does the website get GC/H1 information from? Is it entered by the employers themselves or a third party reviews the data? Or does they get from USCIS by any chance?

I would like to know if the data on the site is falsified or true.

Experts, please help me with the information.

Thanks in advance.

Topic: H4 to H1

As there is a relaxation in H1 processing regarding Client letter, what are the odds of applying for H1 without client letter through Desi consultancy?

What are the chances of getting an H1 for H4s this year?

As per the predictions by Gurus, the H1 quota will be over much sooner this year compared to the previous year. How long would it last? Would it be there at least till Oct or much before that(Jun, Jul)?

Before bluntly terming it as short cut, can you please elaborate on the real route(long route).

I have tried all possible ways, so would like to try the one you advise.

The problem is certain people only think from their side and never give a try to get into others' shoes and think before responding.

And regarding the fake resume thing, the only reason for me to do that was: none of desi consultancy companies are willing to market me with my genuine experience which left me with no other option. I could have avoided them but at that point where visa cap is getting over, I would prefer some source which could get me oppurtunities soon.

to Transformer:-

Thanks for your opinion.

You are probably unaware of the fact that unemployment in Technology sector is just 3.3% which is very negligible. But the requirement is really high. American companies are facing tough time to fill technology jobs, which implies there are very few local candidates who have technology background.

USA Today is a reliable source. You should probably not doubt this article now.

It is really very easy to get through interviews even with my genuine experience; but once I inform them regarding visa sponsorship, they are scared of visa rules and issues (probably because of USCIS); leaving them disappointed too. At the end, I lose hopes and for them, their struggle for candidates continue.

Thus, in any way, nobody is benefited (Neither the employer nor visa holders). Hundreds of Technology jobs are in the market which are tough to be filled by local candidates.

H4 is a deadlock visa:-

H1 (needs) -> Client Letter (needs) -> SSN (needs) -> H1

It is an unsuccessful infinite loop, which never gets executed (unless you fake something in the process).

Thanks for your response.

I have already started doing the same. Infact, I have done it for the entire last year starting from Jun till Nov. The very first question I get from employers is regarding my visa status. Nobody wants to sponsor H1.

Most of the big/small scale American companies are not willing to sponsor visa. Big companies end up getting contractors from body-shops/Consultancies. Small companies do not want to go through the hazzle of applying for visa. (Also it is very expensive from them).

Regarding the EVC model, these (desi) Consultancy companies work in a very unprofessional manner. Their marketing team appears to me as vegetable vendors (back in India). All that they talk about is about billing rates. 99% of them can't even speak proper English. I rarely get to understand them. They are very unprofessional. And worst of all, they always suggest me to fake my resume, which really pisses me off. I do not like to do that.

Having less than 2 yr experience, I am obliged to fake my resume to 7-8yrs at least (leaving me feel insulted during interview- even though I managed to crack few). Despite hating it, I ended up faking my resume as the H1 quota was getting finished. (Just before 2weeks that the H1 Quota is done, I faked my resume to 7yrs and managed to get 3-4 offers). But at the end I was left with nothing. Nobody was willing to give client letter.

This EVC model sucks big time, especially because of these body shops. Because of which, we are unable to apply for job opening with genuine information. All those openings are taken away by the sh***y body shops.

Hi,

I am here in US from past one year.

I really appreciate if someone can help me with the information regarding H1 sponsorship.

I have 2 yr exp from India from one of top IT consulting firms.

Is there anyway that I can try to get an H1 (other than student visa, and other than *giving up hopes*).

Regards,
