Topic: What Documents are required for Canada Landing?
Looks all fine. They dont take picture because one already has provided them when they ask for landing fee. Some people has problem getting PR card for one reason or another. Dont mention them that you are going back soon. I landed in june 2008 and they mailed the PR card to the address I provided them after 4 weeks. I did not carry any cashier check or bank draft , all I have a Bank statement with me, but they never asked me the proof. Only they asked me how much money I am bringing or transfer to Canada. Also federal laws require you to disclose any thing over $ 10,000. Over all the process is very simple and will not take more or less 30 minutes. |

Birth certificate is the best proof of relationship. No one can deny that. So dont worry you will get 5 points for this. |

You just need birth certificate of your brother. I was asked the proof by canadian immigration back in Jan 2008 in writing requesting the birth certificate to verify that we have same parents. I received the landing paper in march 2008. |

Also take landing fee in form of cashier check or money order for principal applicant and the spouse. Dependents are exempt. |

I sent mine last month via USPS Express including Prepaid USPS return envelope got back with visa and landing papers in two weeks. I am planning to land in June.
Note: They have given instructions on mailing from locations within Canada and USA and outside these two countries. |
