Topic: English Requirement

NastyKid,

You said "confirmed by the university the, full course was conduckted in english". So does that means even if you college is listed in the database you still need a letter?

Please clarify

Thanks

Topic: English Requirement

Thanks Guys !

So i know people were getting letter from university regarding "english medium" of teaching ? so people who's college is not listed need to get that letter and if it is listed in database they don't need to?

So my wife college (USA) is listed in database which means she just submits her transcripts?

Any more inputs will be really valuable.

Thanks

PS-Chandra

Topic: English Requirement

All,

My wife is planning to apply for Tier -1 and she has done her master's and Phd from USA. Here university is listed in the database. My question. If it appears in the database does that mean you don't need to submit anything for english requirement? If yes, does she need to take letter from university in USA? Please clarify.

We are currently in UK and she is on dependent visa.

Please help !!

Topic: HSMP - Dependent

Guru's,

I am currently on HSMP (Old - 2 year). My wife has started working on dependent. MY question is

1> If i don't fie for my extension rather go as dependent on my wife's visa( as she will be applying for fresh Tier-1, she can get without hassle as she is in research field). so after 5 years do i qualify for Permanent Resident? Does being on dependent count towards your PR and citizenship? Can i switch back and forth (between HSMP and Dependent) and still be treated as for my Permanent Resident as any other"primary" applicant?

Please advice.

Thanks

Seems like you represented yourself as "single" rather than "married" and hence they didn't consider your husband as joint account holder? is it true?

I had called worldbridge and they had told me that you need to be in UK within 2 months else you might be asked lots of questions by immigration officer. Also i read in few post's in this forum about the same (but it was 3 month limit).

Forget getting job sitting in india unless you have specialised skill. Also please read the rules that you have to be in UK within 2 months of getting visa stamped.

If you don't enter in UK within 2 months of getting visa ... prepare for tough immigration process when u enter UK! ... please read previous post on this regard.
