Topic: Canada PR Status ?

When and at which CIC post did you apply ? Type : Economic/ dependent (family class) etc. ? ,then perhaps I may be able to inform you a Reference time line only.

Topic: AOR versus IA

AOR means Acknowledgement Of Receipt i.e. your documents has reached with your respective CIC post. It means at an appropriate time ( based upon applications reached with them prior to your will be processed ) your file will be reviewed for IA . IA means Initial Assessment, means at appropriate time they will actually start processing and varification of your submitted documents ( if anything is missing will be advised thereupon). At some CIC posts the time line between AOR and IA is 60 months and some just 12-15 months . After IA, again anothe 5-12 months for Confirmation of PR. So , at which CIC post did you apply ( Buffalo, London, New Delhi, Manila etc.) ? With "Track It" main page you can judge when approximately your file will be revied for IA.

Topic: Which is the best type of immigration for me

The review and finalization TIME LINE depends upon at which CIC post you are applying such as Resident Indian at CIC New Delhi, Residents of USA at Buffalo etc. In this website ( http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers/ ) you must have noticed the AOR date and Finalization Time from varios CIC Posts. Your score 80 or over does not accelarate the process time line. All top 8 cities have IT / Networking skill shortages ( There are many website and for ready referrence check out : http://working.canada.com/vancouver/index.html )

If you don't take the test, you are required to submit written evidence of your language proficiency . Your declaration will be reviewed by the immigration officer , whether you must take the test or waived. I suppose you should visit http://www.language.ca/pdfs/comparison.pdf and you will get the picture clear where do you stand as on today .

I suppose Economic Class "Federal Skilled" that's it. Once you become Canada PR, then your parents will join you as "Family Class" . Please read the link pages from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.html .

2 years clearance seems rather very optimistic from New Delhi Post. An authenticated job offer from Canadian employer ( under HRDC guidline) might expedite the processing time . Your employer must attach a covering letter "why they need your services in priority basis" . Please understand that the consultants / barristers can not influence CIC. Their role is to ensure that the required documents are in order ( pre-submission) and no additionsl delay will happen ( other than sequential time line for respective CIC Posts) due to incomplete forms / missing supporting documents .

Topic: Required Funds for Skilled Workers Applicants

Personal Net Worth Statement document should be submitted. Such as Bank Deposits History / Term or Fixed Deposit copies / Property ( Land and Building ) even purchased receipt will do / Mutual fund copies / Company Stockes/ Shares . All these should be Notarised Copy LESS any liabilities ( Mortgage / Personal Loans ) . In Distribution you must mention Funds accompaning while travelling to Canada and Funds to be transferred to Canada at later date. A minimum FUND required for example of 2 adults and a child should be over CAD 15,563.

I have been monitoring the process time line and I suppose cases at New Delhi Post takes over 60months for 1st assessment. If the documents are all straight, then during the 1st assessment CIC will ask latest / updated documents if any changes happened such as family status / job change etc. That stage might take another 6-7months including medical report. Eventually, I suppose it will be 70months to step-in at Canada.
