Topic: Right of Permanent Residency Fee Acknowledgement?
Quick Question-
We sent our Right of Permanent Residency Fee off to CHC last week.
Should we expect to receive an acknowledgement of the fact they have received it via post?
Many Thanks

Topic: Immigration after problems occured in the US
Hi,
I overstayed in the US when I was child, but solved the issue by getting a B1/B2 VISA from the US Embassy in London- so now I don't have any problems entering the US. (Don't know if this is an option for you in Russia?)
I have fully disclosed all of this on my application for SW to Canada. I highly recommend that if you are planning on applying, you do the same. If you lie & they find out about it, you've had it! It's best to be honest.
Sorry- can't help about the shopflifting thing.
Thanks

Topic: Updated Docs Letter Received
Hi,
Our AOR date was the 30th May 2006. I know the wait is frustrating- I couldn't quite believe it when our letter arrived. I'm sure you are not too far behind! Maybe in preparation you should get your new police checks- as they take at least 10 days to arrive. That way, when your letter arrives, you can update the forms & get it into the post.

Topic: I overstayed too....
I overstayed in the US as a child- I did get refused entry to the US once after that, but now have a B1/B2 Visa & have never had a problem entering the US since.
My husband is the main applicant on our application for PR to Canada & now I'm panicking that because of this overstay years ago, we may not get it. (We have declared everything on our form)
What are your thoughts?

Topic: Overstay in U.S
Hey grag2,
Did you declare the fact that your wife overstayed in the US on your application?
