Topic: EAD for H4 Visa Holders

to hashtag:

H4 EAD rule says either you have to complete 6 years of H1B or you need to have approved I-140. So, you should be good to file EAD.

I am in my 8th year of H1B, planning to file for H4 EAD for my wife as I have completed my 6 years of H1B and got H1B extension even though I have approved I-140. My current employer may revoke/withdraw I-140 as I have planned to leave the employer.

Gurus, please correct me if I am wrong.
