I was given an RFE at my interview for something really silly (the doctor did not put a checkmark in one of the boxes)
After 2 months Iwent to an Infopass last Thursday and waited 2 hrs before I was told that there was a mix up with the information being put into my son's folder and not in mine!!
The IO took my email and phone number and said she will contact me!!
She did today and said that she is going to walk the case over to a supervisor and she will keep me posted!!
That was pretty good news....
An Infopass helps.....if you think that you have not heard any news after submitting an RFE! Please walk with as much information as possible...I had the mail receipt as well as the delivery confirmation slip and the notice on the webpage saying the time and date the RFE was delivered.....

Hey frantic,
I went to Infopass and told that my case wasn't looked at since my Interview AND my last Infopass Appointment a month ago because of a slip up!!!
The IO said that she handed the case over to a supervisor!!! And she took my info and said she will let me know what is happening with the case (She was the same IO I had at my 1st Infopass) She was very helpful (Over 1 and half hours)....The case was basically approved at my interview, so I was told, but because of the Doctor NOT checkmarking one box we had to send that in!!!!
Any advice...should I write a complaint letter to......?

Just to let you know,.....I had an RFE in March and replied and the case processing resumed.
I had my Interview in August and was issued ANOTHER RFE!
Still waiting!!! Hope that makes you feel a bit better:) |

As a Caribbean girl to another.......This may sound harsh......Does the GC mean more to you than your peace of mind? If the answer to that is YES!, then get your GC before you confront him!
If you believe that you can get through the battle.....well hats off to you!!
Make the decision that is best for YOU!!

I do have a delivery Confirmation and I did book an Infopass....the last day left in September was the only opening...the day after my b day!!
Hopefully they will let me know what is going on or maybe something happens before then:)

I sent in the RFE requested from me at the Interview and have heard nothing abck yet!
I called USCIS, as usual no help, told me to call back within 60 days!
Im getting nervous because they have not confirmed receiving my RFE 3 weeks ago!
Any comments?
