Topic: PLEASE HELP!!!!!

If you still have valid L1 stamp in your passport - re-enter on it. I really don't know how long you can stay outside of the US been on L1 - check with USCIS - call customer support, it's not necessary to get to IO - they will let you know. I would follow their instructions, I prefer the safe side :)

Regular BS from IO, means nothing.

Topic: Question re partnership during I485 and I140 process

Even been on H1 you could be the boss of your own company, but ... you cannot work for that company. You can be in any business, just do not work for it, just receive dividents/shares (don't forget to tax them all tho) :) Weird, I know.

Topic: Can anyone suggest how to expedite EAD renewal - Please

Don't worry. My wife had the same issue. Her EAD was to expire yesterday (Sep 08th). I faxed NSC requesting EAD to be expedited with LIN no and reason she needs the EAD otherwise she has to losse her job which will put her in financial strees etc. Do you know what happened, Yesterday (the last day) Card production was ordered. So, good luck and fax a request. Don't call NSC as they will ask you to fax your expedite request anyways

Did your wife (or you) filed an EAD ext. only 2 month prior an expiration date? OP was so lazy (I'm sorry, but that's is true) to read official docs, where he could find that an EAD ext. could be filed 120 days before exp. date. Now, he can't even ask for expediting, because of 90-days rule.

All we make mistakes, I admit that, we are all humans for God sake, I really will keep fingers crossed for OP and his wife ....

Topic: President Score grade

hehe ... that's why McCain got Sarah :))) Just in case he'll 'retire' next month after elections :)

Then again, why do you think McCain is COMPETENT in war stuff? I respect him as POW, but it doesn't mean he has knowledge of military adviser. At least, Obama doesn't even pretend to be war-wise guy, he has now a very good VP behind, who is the best in international politics. Out of curiosity, you haven't explained why Obama or McCain either is bad.... You were talking about PAST politicians, but not about future, sorry :)

Anyway, we cannot do anything with either of them, so, as usual, you have a choice - stay or leave.

You have to file AR-11 form:

The good thing is - it's free of charge :) BTW, you have to file it also.

how about the wife on H4 with EAD

Controversy ... Either she on H4 or on EAD. Used an EAD = AOS (forget about H4), EAD has not been used = H4. That's simple. Know nothing about license tho.
