Wait, you were living in Canada before the visa was approved, but applied for Family Class outside of Canada?
I ask because I am planning on moving back to Canada the first week of August. I should have my visa by then, but there is a chance that I may not. I would like to go up even if I dont have it, and then just cross the border to land officialy when I do receive it. I'm just not sure if that would fly at the border. |

Hmm, well that is for Quebec, we're going through Ontario. BUT hopefully Ontario's standards are about the same, in which case he makes more than enough. That's a good idea though, i'll see if I can give them a call this week. Thanks again for your help! |

My husband will be applying to sponsor me soon. We have 2 concerns.
1. How closely do they assess him (my sponsor)? Will they do a background check or police check on him like I had to do?
and
2. What is the minimum income requirement for him to sponsor me?
