Can u give me some names of good recruiting agencies which works only for immigrants ?. Also is it possible to get UK sim here and use it for interviews how much will it cost ? I know that generally Uk employers willn't give an offer untill they meet us personally, but if it is a work permit they have to give the offer just by interviewing a person on call who will be statying outside of UK. If it holds good for work permit why not for hsmp/tier1 |

Oh Sorry, i got confused with 6 months validity of hsmp approval letter, i hope we can travel to uk any time till the end of 3 yrs period provided we are able to manage to prove 75 points next time when we file for FLR.
am i right nasty kid, please confirm. Is it mandatory to stay 11/12 months bfore we apply for extn ?.
If u don't mind can u explain how one can be eligible for ILR if initial entry is late by 3-4 months. |

One more question if we have already a visa for other country say H1/L1/B1 will HO will cancel this visa when we apply for tier1. |

Hi hraina/Seniors,
For HSMP EC process, Though it is not mentioned any where officially that we need to show proof of accomadation(Hotel bookings or documents of friends who r residing in UK) but it was the practice people used to follow and even i came to know that there r chances of EC rejection if we don't have this documents.
Now my question is since maintenance funds are made mandatory, still do we need to provide this documents ? don't know why Home Office will not make this rules mandatory and inturn ECO will check for all these things.
Seniors/People who have applied for the first time under tier1 from india please comment on this.
This will be very help full for the other people since most of the people will apply strictly according to the rules but who knows about this hidden facts? |

Iam planning to apply under Tier1 from india a masters degree holder and iam having the following questions
1) After going thru the posts and reading the PBS document i understood that i have to submit the VAF9A,VAF9B along with PP and supporting original documents to VFS and i can relax till i get my PP stamped with visa or decision letter for rejection.
Am i right ?
2) How much time will it take for the entire process(hope they will return passport with visa stamped if iam elgible) since i submit my documents to VFS.
3) Will there be any interview ?
4) Maintainence Funds.
a) I assume this requirement is for showing our eligibility to meet expenses in UK untill we get the job.
b) Is it still required to show proof of accomadation in UK(hotel bookings, submitting rental documents of people who we know in UK, tax papers of friends,...) along with the initial application ?
c) Along with bank statement for the account holding 2800 GBP for 3 months can i also show a document confirming investments in ULIP,Fixed deposits etc from a chartered accountant(just to be strong)
5) Documentary Evidence
Iam planning to submit the following documents in original to VFS.
- Education(I have evaluated on self assesment tool on BIA site and my masters degree is recoginzed as equivalent to UK masters degree and meets eng language requirment)
a) Masters degree convocation.
q1) Do i need to submit marksheet also?
q2) Do i need to submit letter from university for english language requirement ?
q3) I hope i don't need to submit any of the bachelors degree certificates.
- Proof of Age
b) Original Passport.
- Earnings
a) Payslips along with bank statement. |
