People say you are free bird once u get GC.. but how free? Are we allowed to work in any job, any industry .. what are some of things we need to look out for after getting approved.. here is a list questions and things to watch out for b4 applying for USC
1.less than6 months with sponsor..Give me ok or not ok
2.different industry, different job description -- Give me ok or not ok
3.pay ..can it be less than GC labor?Give me ok or not ok
4.have to be in US for 6 months in a calendar year.. some explanation pls
5.hold on to all paycheck, tax paper, w2 etc-- wht other things we need to look out for
6.no1-94 right? what do we get @ POE.. what to do with all the F1 and H1,etc..just keep them in a safe place? no need to travel with them?
7.can we work in other countries and which one don't need a work visa if u have GC
please add you Q&A to this list..

hey Trackbuzz - I am sure it won't be long before you get yours. If I were you, I would check USPS mail instead of online status or CRIS email. The online thingy is broke at TSC.. My 485 case status is the proof..

i called them on the 4th.. the lady was real nice she told me my case has been pre-adj and with an officer.. but i would have to wait a couple of weeks for the decision.. i am not sure if this help but i think it did.. there were no SLUDs nothing in the recent month.. there was slud in jan, i asked her abt it and she said it was the day my case was adjed.. the status change to CPO yesterday..if you current I wouls suggest you call/infopass
good luck i think ur time will come in the second Quarter.

My online status still shows pending. I receiced physical GC yesterday. No LUD also. Don't trust TSC online status.

Yea, I had a bunch of FRE's on Education AGAIN. Fixed that, and had a few soft LUDS last June and July. And the files are taking a rest. Who knows when USCIS will wake them up from their slumber. I suppose they are pre approved. Hopefully, EB3 will include me come october VB.

did she tell you why it is not approved yet? In my case, she said expired FP may be stopping it and she opened a SR for new FP.
Hmmm... Expired FP is a silly reason. There are many approvals with expired FP!
