Topic: Question on 180 day rule!!!

Alright guys,
The 180 rule is on and many cases have been successfully adjusted, however, family cases (based on marriage to a U.S Citizen) applicants (in most cases) will be notified to have fingerprints retaken and invited for a second interview.
As far as I know, other cases pending due to name check delays will be automatically adjusted, and if USCIS needs more info from you, they will notify you by mail.
Good luck!

Topic: Hey Guys

Hey guys,
I had my case pending for about 3 years and I was recently invited to appear for second interview (two weeks ago) in the tri-state area.
My wife and I arrived in the USCIS building at 8 am and our interview as scheduled for 10 am.
We waited about 2 hours, then interviewed for about 5-10 minutes.
The interview was as simple as the 1st one. We were asked to show evidence of marriage, joint accounts, and etc.
The officer asked my wife if she wanted me to become a permanent resident, she said yes.... then He stamped my passport and that was it!
We walked out of the office so thrilled.... if your marriage is a bona fide you have nothing to worry about!
Good luck!

Topic: 4th preference question

Absolutely!
Your sister-in-law must contact USCIS immediately and update her citizenship status!
Make sure you have the receipt number of your sibling's application as well.
Good luck

Topic: Letter from USCIS notice for second interview

All you guys got to do is relax and celebrate!
I was so nervous that I could not sleep since I had received the notice ;(.
Here is my time line:
02/15/2005 Filed I-130/ I-485 / I-765/ I-131
05/05/2005 EAC and I-131 Approved
08/08/2005 AOS interview (Pending due to Name check)
04/06/2006 EAC / I-131 renewed
05/015/2007 Renewing again EAC And I-131
04/04/2008 Notice for second FD AND Interview.
04/14/2008 I-485 Approved and stamped... The officer was great, even apologized for the delay!
The officer showed me how many hints they have for my name.. It was a huge list since my last name is very common, so he also emphasized that the name check sometimes remains open (in my case still is), but since the new memo about the 180 days category, I was eligible to be approved. He also said they may revoke the card at the end of the background check if it turns out that something is against me.
Now I tell you.... if you name is stuck for any minor reason such as traffic tickets, or even a misdemeanor make sure you present proof of the disposition of your case!
If you have not got in any excitement (trouble lol)... awesome!
