I read instructions onI864. It states that If the intending immigrant is your spouse , you can count his income towards the sponsor provided his income continues, regardless of residence. Kindly comment.

Well, i have a permanent job in NJ in a hospital. I dont think i can go around with that. Well wat do u guyz think if i apply from NJ and give both addresses in NJ and can show my sponsorship in I864 along with my employment letter, W 2 and pay stubs and just my wifes w2 , paystubs how would that go. BTW we just got married a week ago i think spouse doesnt need to show 6 months of residence |

Hi ,
I have a question regarding Form I864. My wife is currently working in chicago, she is us citizen and sponsoring me. I m in NJ on H1 B and working . If she moves with me now , off course she quits her job , then how will she support me on I864?? Can she quit her job now and show tax return of the past yr and last few months paystub.
If she continues working than we would have to file a different address in our papers, would that be a problem with USCIS for spouse based adj of status.
Can some one kindly help.

My question is that at the time of filing I130/485 she would be in Chicago and I d be in NJ. Shed move with me later when we return from india ( 3-4 months). Wud there be any problem with this.
If you are a spouse and you are filing I864, still you need to live for 6 months?????????

Hi :
I have a few questions if some one can kindly help. I m marrying my fiancee who lives in chicago. I m in NJ. We are marrying in July, need to travel to india to get religiously married in November and then start living together. I m on H1 status here and need AP to travel;
1) Can my marriage certificate be signed by a judge ( civil ceremony) here in US and Official wedding in India
2) When she applies for I 130 , what address she needs to put, my address in NJ or her address in chicago. ( She is currently working in Chicago and would move with me when we get officialy married in India in Nov)
3) When she applies I864, can she use my income as co sponsor, she makes around 44K no dependents.
4)If I apply for I130, I485, I131 ,EAD in August, when can i expect my AP and I485 interview.
