yes.. thats quite normal.. they don't know and understand 485 receipt.. anyway you need to be on H1 or EAD... Either one will dictate your license expiry date.... So if you are planningto switch on EAD and don't have valid EAD in hand you cannot work too...
States like California are really pro-immigration.. They give full term normal license :-) More states should learn from them... |

It could be for many reasons... Did you switched jobs.. could be your old employer revoked 140 and USCIS doesn't know about AC21... Wait for the letter... and put more details so that people can respond... |
