Guys,
I filed my taxes jointly that is with wife and daughter. She does not work. I filed early January 08 with ITINs for wife and daughter in order to receive my refund as soon as possible. After learning that ITIN wont get you a stimulus package checks, and after receiving the GCs for all my family, I am planning to amend the return using form 1040X to reflect the new SSNs so I can hopefully receive the full benefit of the stimulus package tax creadits. Me and family member will show up at a IRS local office to amend the return and make the ITIN to SSN change effectively. |

I have to solve this issue. I have already e-filed using my wife's ITIN, even though she already had the SSN. I was afraid that IRS would reject my e-file if I changed the ITIN to SSN (I need the tax refund ASAP). My bad I did not read the recent IRS press release in that it would not send checks to ITIN holders. I am planning to go to my closest IRS office ASAP to amend the tax return. Hopefully, my wife will receive the stimulus package check. If someone has additional information on this then please add your 2 cents. |

USCIS issued a RFE requesting my 10 year old to submitt a G-325A form!!!!!! According to USCIS' own regulations only 14 and older must submitt the form. This USCIS stupidity cost me $300.00 in legal fees!!! I cannot imagine all the millions of dollars wasted in fees and legal fees that USCIS imposes on immigrants only due to errors!!!!

USCIS issued an RFE regarding my 10 year old kid's pending 485, requesting the submission of a G-325A. I understand that 14 year old minors do not need to submitt this 325 form. Do you guys can point me out to the regulation on this form??? I cannot find it on USCIS. Mine and my wife's 485 were approved 10 days ago.

I noticed that my I-140 case has the wrong Labor Filing Date, and I am trying to correct it to (27 July 2007), however I get a system error indicating "Invalid Labor Filing Date" could you please indicate why the error??? BTW, my 485 has the correct filing labor date. |
