Thanks for all your comments. Ours was a mid size company and were making profit all these years.
It's only because of all the price increases and bad economy it pulled our company profit for the very first time. Hope they fix it as stated. |

Today we had our annual meeting at our office and were told about the status of our company. We were told that the company did not make any profit in the past fiscal year ended on 08/31/08 and also ended with some loss.
We were told that all measures are being taken to improve the current situation. This type of loss scenario had never happened before, and there were also 2 lay offs recently.
My question is how will this affect my I140 & 485 applications.
When I filed my application last year August'07 our company was still making profit, also during my priority date which is April'07 we were in profit so were the previous years.
Will the current situation of our company have any impact on my 140 approval?

Me and my wife received the originals yesterday with each 2 copies of originals from attorney. I see some have received 3 originals, am I missing something?

Approval date: 10/30/07
I'm sure Attorney received it long back, but the paralegal was on vacation. They mailed the documents yesterday and received it just now.

It's all the same. Mine said "Approval notice sent".
I got approved on 10/30/07 and the attorney has my copy, Paralegal was out on vacation for the past 1 week and just returned back so waiting to get the approval notice by the end of this week.
For you I would say atleast 7-10 bussiness days after the approval date. |
