We can try #GreenCage or #GoldenCage. The golden cage which we built for ourselves.

We are just showing our anger on desi companies, IV and asking people to go back to India . People will cheat the law whenever restrictions are there , be it immigration, prohibition of alcohol, tax etc. People would like IV to be successful, but IV should recognize that there also other entities like them with similar goals and work with them if they promote unity in representing legal immigration. We came here of our own choices and knowledge of US rules but that doesn't mean US can exploit us, by putting us on GC limbo for years. We have to fight in ways we can and afford, after all America is a land of immigrants and we have given our 2 cents for it being a leader in innovation. These issues are all sidekicks. The real elephant in the room is US congress and USCIS. Equality is not there and we are made to wait for being Indian or Chinese. USCIS & Congress has not increased visa quota since 90s and they should have come up with point based immigration like other countries. They should come up with a simple process instead of so many stages like perm, 140 , EAD, 485 etc. Even a piecemeal approach is good as long as we progress. Let's hope this rule gives us something, if not a life changer.

Topic: Obama EO: EAD for approved I 140

The comments period for rule 1615-AC05 has ended on Feb 29th ( A leap year extra day). Any idea when we will get the final wordings of this rule?

Everyone has lost interest and hope with this rule it seems. Wish we get something out of this rule atleast for the expectations it created.

Lets see !!

My manager hires lot of consultants and i help with the selection process. Looking at the resume i know that they are all fake experiences, but when we interview we check whether the guy is capable of doing the job and we negotiate the rates accordingly for a junior position. Although i agree it is wrong to fake resumes, ultimately the guy has to do his work. If he is able to do the job of a senior person, my manager asks me to go ahead and get the person as he will stay longer. If he is not able to do the job then my manager throws him out anyway. u make fake getting a job but u can never fake the work you have to do.

That is really great. A mayor's comment is definitely worth something.

We have all done our part and hope that this rule comes to fruition. It has been really a nice journey talking to like minded people and a group would be a definite welcome.

The author of the article is just one of those crabs who kick the ladder after you climb. A totally biased article, my take is that you got yourself fried by some south indian because you were dumbwitted than him/her and had to lick his boots for survival. He is totally a racist pig.

Do you have even the slightest idea about the qualification of H4 folks? . Most of the H4 folks have work experience in india which i am sure is at par and somecases more than your two years of theoretical studies and why should we study again when we have a masters and work experience too? There are lot of folks who have been waiting for more than 7 years( kept the law), which is worse than your two years of illegal menial work.

Read the rule carefully, they are not handing over the H4 to everyone. It is for the families who have started the immigration process.

You are totally clueless about the law.

Folks, I think the author started this thread to support EAD for H4 visa holders. We are not debating whether the rule is required or not but trying to get more support and promote this forward.

You are nothing but a racist if you marginalize a particular community. Your theory should also have twisted thoughts. I know a lot of people working here without visas from other states within the indian community. But indians are definitely not the major visa offenders according to US statistics. It is because of "crabs" like you that our indian community has no voice. Really shame on you.
