the i 485 application to register permanent residence or to adjust status was transferred and is now being processed at a uscis office

any idea.........
primary is approved and depnendent 's case is send to uscis office
which office .......... no idea?

though my priroty date is current from last month.

I lost my job on 15 sep and got my Green Card approval on sep 29th.

Will it be a problem?
like while u got approved u must have job or something?
or in future while applying for citizenship, i t might be a big issue?
I cann't apply for unemployment benefits too?

Dependent's case is in AAO for no reason.
I withdraw the appeal. and then they send my case back to Texas.

I am in the similar situation.

I applied for h1 and h4 ext (11th year) in august 09 and got RFE
and replied date for the RFE is 27 SEP 09.

My I 140 is approved and 485 filed in aug08,

i have ead and AP.

now I got lay off from my job last friday.

I was also wondering , if they denied what is going to be happened?

please explain more in detail

and then they will deined..
but in that case will i be able to use my EAD or not.

I need help and suggestion of all u expert gurus.

My GC is pending
I have my EAD and AP ,
And file for H1 extenions (9yrs)
I got RFE for h1 ext this time and didn't response to query yet. and friday i lost my job.

What is going to happened to query for h1?
what should I do?
Should we withdraw the h1 ext..
I can request to my boss to do that if this might gonna affect my gc process.

Any help would be great.
Also looking for job in dba oracle.. in us anywhere....
plz suggest something.

1st I 140 Denied in july27,08

Date became current in Aug 08.
In aug 24,08 Filed

1. MTR and Appeal to I 140 (first I140)
2. and then Filed the concurrent I 140/ I 485 (second I 140)

All the Cases have the Same A#
In nov 6 they approved the Second I140 ( i asked my lawyer to with draw the appeal that time and he didn't)

So after 6 months when they touch the first I 140 they(the denied one), send the I 485 along with the first I 140 to AAO.
Which is totally independent then USCIS.
Uscis have no control on that.
They are not suppose to send 485 though.

So now i have withdraw appeal. which i don't how long it take?
Though the case is totally messed up.

I have the exact same situation.
And now before a week i fille to withdraw appeal.
Right now they have already send my second 140 and concurrent 485 to aao.

now even for withdraw they are not sure that they will be able to get the 485 back from aao or not

Which is a 26 months backlog.

it is always better to withdraw the appeal before it goes to AAO.
I have went to info pass and talked to uscis so many times
As per then ONce it goes to AAO......... no one can do any thing aao is compeletely different.

and wait time is 26 months.

not yet,
but expecting to receive the RFE on Monday.

dose any one know how long dose it take to process for withdrawl paper to prepare by lawyer?

one more thing i have applied for my h1 10 th year ext , and got a mail for RFE

Please let me know the withdrawl was from aao or from uscis?

as per uscis it might take 2 months.

let me explain my case
1st I140 Denied : JULY08

Then Date got current in AUG 08

So filed Appeal for 1st I 140 aug 08
and Concurrent filing 2nd I 140 and I 485 in Aug 08

Second I 140 approved in November 08,
and then I ask my lawyer to withdraw the appeal.
But the lawyer did a very good job here and didnt withdraw the appeal and I 140.

as per him it should be get adjucted which didn't happen in my case
and then after 3 months USCIS send the 140 and concurrent 485 to AAO( processing time to touch the file is 25months)

after contacting Congressman we found to withdraw the appeal it wouldn't impact on my 485(they received some written doc . about this from uscis)

NOw again my date is current.
how long dose it take to withdraw the appeal from aao.

can someone suggest something also suggest me any good lawyer in NJ.i

My case has been sent to AAO mistakenly by USCIS Texas.
Now my lawyer has tried everything to get it back from uscis to aao..

but nothing happened.

Today I saw soft LUD on my cases.

what it could be ? any suggestons
