No she has not been approved. I think the reason is the FP. She received the second FP notice for 07/01/08. |

My wife has F1/OPT status and she didn't get the 2nd FP (I got the 2nd FP in May). Perhaps this is the reason. I haven't contacted our attorney yet. I will do it on Monday to see what he has to say. |

Hi Sharooz,
The RFE was nothing unusual. They asked us to take the TB skin test (we had only x-rays, we thought that our TB skin tests would turn positive due to the BCG vaccination). We ended up re-taking the entire medical exam because on 06/05/2008 USCIS changed the I-693 forms and we didn't go to the same civil surgeon (we moved to another city last year).
The other items that they requested from us were:
1- Copies of the original birth certificates (in Farsi).
2- A copy from our marriage certificate (in Farsi).
3- A letter from my employer although for NIW petition you don't need to be employed!
I received no RFE for my I-140/NIW petition.
Hope your case gets approved soon. |

I got "Card production ordered" two days before "Approval notice sent"! I seems that there is no logic in the order of the online messages. |

Yes we both applied concurrently on the same day 12/18/2006 (I-140/NIW for me and I-485 for both of us). My I-485 was approved (Card production ordered) on 06/17/2008 and my wife's case got LUD on the same day. We both had another soft LUD on 06/18/2008. I got "Approval notice sent" today 06/20/2008. I am not sure about electronic submission, my attorney submitted our cases. We just sent our documents to him. |

I also got soft LUD on my approved 140 but, I got a soft LUD on my 485 on the same day. Perhaps, they sent the approved 140 to the officer who handles my 485. |
