Topic: Canada PR stamping

Indian Munda / Raymasa:

I have a quick question.

Every time I travel to Canada using my PR card - either by land or by air - will my PP get stamped with US re-entry date as I am using H1 B visa to enter into US?

Will it affect in any way?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Topic: Canada PR stamping

Lalan:

Sorry for any confusion.

IO asked how much cash I have with me.

I told him how much I had with me.

If I am not wrong, you need to be atleast 2 years in Canada out of 5 years to get PR Card renewed.

Please watch out for Gurus' responses too.

Hope this helps.

Topic: Canada PR stamping

First of all thank you to all for your replies and guidance.

I flied to TO on Nov 14. Reached by 8.10am.

IO: Checked COPR forms.
IO: What visa you hold in US?
IO: How much money you have with you?

IO: Gave a copy of stamped COPR form.

Applied for SIN Card on the same day.

Back to US on Nov 16.

US IO: Checked I-94 and took finger prints.
US IO: Put a stamp in the passports.

Let me know if anyone of you have questions.

Thanks!

Topic: Canada PR stamping

I have few questions on Canada PR stamping.

I need to land in Canada by Jan 15, 09.

1) I specified Toronto as my place of landing. Can I go to Montreal for PR landing stamping?

2) I have my H1B valid till 2009 and have extension till 2010. Also, my I 485 is in process. Does it affect in any way if I go for PR landing?

3) Can I drive rental car into Montreal, Canada when I go for PR landing stamping?

Please help me.

Thanks!

Topic: Landing for PR Query

Sodi:

I am also in CT. If you are okay, I want to join along with my family.

I have the same question:

I gave my friend's address. Do I need to go to the same place?

Appreciate anyone's input.

Thanks!
