Recently purchased a home. I want to update my W4. Interest on mortgage for Nov-Dec and property tax for 2009 is about 10k, which also includes the point paid towards closing loan.

I want to start getting deduction right away instead of getting refund later. what do I need to do?

Talk to your new company attorney. Make sure they support you before taking action on your side.

These attorney are very good in pointing fingers at others when something gets messed up.

I am not saying you are in bad state but talk to new attorney.

Nov bulletin says. EB2 India is 22nd Jan, 2005 and OPs PD is March 2005. how can he be current?

I have EAD and H1, but working on H1B.

I have question on filling the Loan application form. (Freddie Mac Form)

First question is
1. Are you US citizen? Answered NO
2. Are you permanent Resident alien?

What is the definition of permanent Resident Alien from lender's point of view?

My lender wants me fill it as 'Yes', as I have EAD, have alien number and 485 applied?

Can people who already got the loan shed light on this?

If you have received receipt then try infopass.

When we had to travel in emergency then officer at infopass said, he could approve AP if he has receipt number.
