Topic: Side job.

Hello, i am currently working for a company with a proper salary slot on the bank statement.

But i have been doing some contractor based jobs on the 'side' i.e. working as an external consultant for a consultancy firm on an adhoc basis.

As i was paid in cheque (everything legal so far). How do i demonstrate this stipend to the HSMP lads ?

1. An receipt from the consultancy work is good enough ? btw, the consultancy firm has gone bust last month...
2. do i need to produce an invoice ? (I do not have a registered company) with all the attached details of the work performed ?
3. a bank statement with the money is good enough ?

thanks

Topic: Eb2-Niw Question.

Thanks guys/gals, i have never viewed the eb2-niw in this framework.

It was more a frame of min to have the best reference (i.e. exmans, docs etc). But actually convincing USCIS that you are the best thing this since sliced bread is the 'sesame' to open the door.

wish me luck i will send the 'package' by monday...

Topic: rb2 - reference.

i am thinking about eb2, but i dont have a lot of reference.

Academia was so long ago and work environment is extremely competitive.

if , asked for reference at work i may run into trouble, 'cause senior management have a 'master over slave attitude'.

has someone managed to get an eb2 with minimal reference letter ?

Topic: Help requested for EB2.

guys/gals, i have left university and research for 10 years now. I have been working in the private sector as consultant and now as a head if it/is for a large fmcg firm. I wonder if i can apply for the eb2 with this profile.

2. consultant for IT for 5 years.

3. security expert with several conference given.

4. appointed with government as a security expert with respect to Evoting

5. A lot of professional qualifications.

well, how can i build my case ? all that i have seen are more r&d oriented...

Topic: rants..and skew...

The hm is wrong with the country income band.

Assume that a citizen from country X with a skewed band will always do better i.e. where the poor do get very little compared to a privileged upperclass.

It will be the upperclass who can afford university and then manage to get a degree hence better skewed income.

He/she will be able to show that they can get better points with this item when compared to the per capita income..

U can extend this reasoning to a country with a less skewed income distribution, there the best candidate will be unable to have higher points as the income band is rather flat and the per capita is close to the median.
