Topic: RFE on Amendment and H1 extension approved

Hi, I have changed the client and applied for amendment. Its was pending for a while and in the mean time i applied for H1 Extension with the same client and got approved. Around the same time I got an RFE on amendment. How do i handle this situation.

Can i revoke my Amendment as my H1 is already approved. Or do i still have to reply the RFE? If i reply the RFE and if the result it not in my favor, how does it affect the approved H1?

Topic: IV,RHC etc etc- Suddenly all disappears

SIIA is the only organization that is not asking for donations. How many of you are with them. Almost none. We are computer warriors, nothing in real. We are the problem as well. Simply blaming the organizations won't work.

I have been seeing this circus from 2009. I won't blame IV or RHC. The politicians in this country doesn't have any will to help legal or illegal immigrants. So many bills failed to come up for voting. No body cares.
Illegals and DACA with so many millions behind their cause with the power to change election results, couldn't get anything done for them. We are less than a million. What do you expect

Topic: Any spillover this year?

Experts n Gurus, Based on the latest pending inventory do you see any spillover coming to EB2 or EB3. My PD is in July 2009 under EB2. Even if there is spillover in EB3 it will indirectly benefit EB2. I don't see anything coming from top, but expecting some horizontal spill over. I'm getting sick, old and tired of this wait.

Topic: Amendment RFE pending and H1 extension approved

I talked to my company attorney. Looks like we can withdraw the amendment as my H1B Extension is already approved.

Topic: Amendment RFE pending and H1 extension approved

Its a strange situation. Sure i can talk to my lawyer, but thought of asking it here as well. Back in October i moved to a new client and i filed my amendment. And i received an RFE at the beginning of march. While the RFE is pending, my attorney filed for my H1 extension and i got approved couple of days back. I'm still with the same client and nothing has changed. Now the question is, do i still have to respond to this RFE?

Topic: IV vs RHC - Who is really trying to help us ?

The head of RHC, shalabh kumar is a multi millionaire. And he donated about $10 million to Trump during campaigning. I don't think they are after our money. I believe he want to make his hold stronger amount hindus and indians and convert them to future republicans.

Well I'm just planning to move to a new employer and I'm not sure how soon the employer is start my GC process. I'm was just talking about a hypothetical situation where i shift to a new company and with in few months my PD date becomes current. I was asking whether i can switch back to the previous employer.

Topic: Moving to previous employer to file 485

Are there any consequences if the employer doesn't withdraw I-140 for the employees who left the company? And if it costs to withdraw 140, most likely my employer won't do that. He is not my friend, but if i go back to them he will anyway make money off my contract too. Its mutually beneficial. I know many companies promise to start the PERM process immediately, they rarely do that.

Topic: Moving to previous employer to file 485

Starting the PERM will delay my GC process further. I would like to save some time by directly apply for 485 with the previous employer. Hope the dates wont get retrogressed this time. Not sure how much more time i have to spend in this hole. This whole immigration process and temporary status is killing me.

Thank you. That sound encouraging. I know the employer very well and been with them for 9 years. I hope they will take me back when my date becomes current.

Yes i missed the boat in 2012 and i regret it to this day. I haven't started looking yet but with full time i'm sure it would take a year or two to start the PERM process.

Topic: Moving to previous employer to file 485

With the current situation i'm planning to take full time which is definitely safer than consulting. My priority date in july 2009. Lets say that moved to the new company. With in the next two years if my date becomes current, can i switch back to my previous employer and start my GC process where i left off. Can i file 485 directly without restarting the GC process? I know i can maintain my priority date, but do i need to start my PERM process again. Thanks

Topic: H1B extension denied

Life has become really tough for H1 candidates. It doesn't really matter how many years you have been here, how many times earlier you have proved your eligibility to H1, how much taxes you have paid and you have your kids born and raised here. Everything comes down to one single decision to deny you the extension.
I wish you all the best with your H1 Transfer. I'm in the same boat about to apply for extension.

Topic: H1B extension denied

Its really concerning that people who has been here for so long are getting their extension denied. Are you FTE or contractor. What is your EVC model? What was the RFE on.
