Topic: Has DOL stopped processing applications?

I've gone down that route to no avail. A congresswoman sent an inquiry on my behalf to DOL and the response was in short "wait for your turn". Rantings aside I see nobody has any idea what DOL is up to in the past week or so. If nothing else those of us who have been waiting now can move that fictitious PERM approval date on our calendar back by another month or so.

I won't even know what to do with my life or which side to walk on the street anymore when I get my PERM approval. It's like an old man let out of jail after serving 50 years behind the bars. I should go work for DOL to pass the torch to the next generation. Wait did I say torch? I meant torture.

Topic: Has DOL stopped processing applications?

LOL ok I'd rather that they don't work than to work against us. But it's more likely it'll be the later.

Topic: Has DOL stopped processing applications?

I understand that cases on trackitt only represent a very small portion of the entire pool but I've never seen 8 days gone by without a single approval/denial. Has DOL suspended the process for reassessment or shift of policies or something? Whatever they shift into it can't be good news for anyone...well not for us anyway. It could be terrific news for Lou Dobbs.

Topic: Fragomen Audit? Any New Info?

Non-Fragomen audits can expect the normal 450 days time frame, if everything holds without worsening. Relax guys, this is an 8-year journey. Get used to it and enjoy the ride.

Topic: No Apporval since 09/26/2008 for normal cases

My guess is that they are taking a bit of time to re-shuffle the applications due to the release of certain audited cases. Just a guess, nothing more.

Topic: What is going on with Atlanta DOL? Thought they would be active with audit cases in May!

Sorry to say but you have a LONG wait ahead of you. My audit reply was Dec. 2007 and I'd be lucky if my case gets processed in 5 or 6 months. Current trend shows a wait of over 440 days for audited cases from their priority date. Yours is march 08, so you can expect a result around mid 2009...but of course that's to assume that things don't change for the better or worse, which is never the case. But unfortunately with DOL the changes have absolutely been for the worse in the past year.

Topic: Will pending (not audited) PERM cases be delayed because of DOL's statement regarding pending audits

Atlanta has limited resources that they don't know how to use. Everything is taking longer and longer and everyone's affected until the date of approval.

Topic: There is nothing we could do !!!!

......but at least they know we deserve an answer.

Are you sure? Obviously the only thing they think we deserve is an audit.

It's a d@mn irritating pause in life is what it is. These guys hold the remove control and just refuse to press the play button for us, while we jump up and down like little monkeys. You know what I want their job. It must be VERY entertaining.

Topic: PERM Application Processing Update as of 07/15/2008

I begin to worry if 15 month will become 24 month in the future.

We can bet it will. They should give those whose PERM were audited automatic I-140 premium processing. Oh well we can dream on but they don't give a d*mn, have never and will never.
