same as you filed when you applied for new EAD. Except that on I-765, you would select renewal.

Yes, hoping the lines for GC get less clogged now because of trump rhetoric and his plans for the future. Hopefully WITCHs will start heading back to offshore or search other neverlands for their next corrupt venture.

Topic: H1B premium processing suspended for 6 months

I think USCIS should atleast exempt the H1B Visa transfers from this ban. Visa transfers are necesary for job mobility and they should treat this as an exception. Someone please educate them as this will have dire conesquences on the job market.

Its not advisable to travel while your extension is pending but if your current H1 is valid, you can travel at your own risk

Option 1 is better for you. No point getting H4 EAD approved which expires in November. Plus it normally is taking more than 6 months for H4 EAD approval these days and there is no premium processing option for EAD.

Anyone having experience with staffing companies like KForce, Randstad, Teksystems, Judge group etc for H1B transfers, please share your experience so far regarding the onboarding process and working with them.

That's a very pessimistic prediction. It won't be that bad, trust Me (DT)

Yes, please report this to DHS if you can. This is the epitome of visa abuse by TCS.

Thanks for sharing your experience and yes I agree that the job market has got tough now. Earlier it was relatively easier to find a job once you are off your current contract as there were so many positions open for H1Bs. I talked to recruiters and they are saying that there are more positions than candidates to fill in the jobs but the companies don't wanna do sub contracting or C2C as some of these shady consulting companies are plainly abusing the market with their fake resume candidates/H4 EADs or they just go out of business and they are left hanging by the cliff. out of 10 calls, 9 of them are for Citizens and GCs. There is no way to know if a resume on the job boards is fake or real and your resume just gets lost in that stack. Terrible situation!

Topic: HR392 - Eliminate per-country numerical limitation

we gotta support this bill and make this a reality. That's the only chance of survival for GC backloggers stuck forever..it's gaining momentum and prospects are looking better every day. Gotta keep it in the spotlight and urge lawmakers to pass it.

good analysis and closer to reality..it's a tough road ahead for H1Bs. Gone are the shining days of the past when H1B's used to call the shots and companies were ready to pay huge bucks to hire a H1, now the coin has flipped and time to face the real battle ahead.

In these conditions, I think it is better to look for a FTE but even that is hard to find especially for Visa holders. 90% of the jobs are currently open only for GCs/EADs/Citizens. Hard time for contractors and consultants and nobody knows how long will this last. It would be helpful if people in the same boat provide or share info about employers/companies/locations which are favorable right now for jobs.

Topic: Current job market trends

This is a little off topic but thought someone could share their experiences if they are looking for a change in the current conditions. Looks like most of the jobs are asking for GC/Citizens and nobody's ready to even transfer H1B's (excluding the small body shops) for a full time position or even C2C. Is this the new trend in the market or is it the DT wave ruling the minds of the companies? This was not the case a few months back but noticing it recently. Can someone shed some light if they are in the same boat?

Topic: November 2016 VB-Prediction

I am not saying it's illegal but that is the main reason for the backlogs we are facing today. out of those odd 7200 petitions, atleast 60% would be EB1's. These facts should be brought up to USCIS and if necessary they should take some corrective action to limit the no of petitions to be fair to others waiting in the queue.

Topic: November 2016 VB-Prediction

It may be a slight digression from the topic but you got to look at the below stats:

http://www.myvisajobs.com/Reports/2015-Green-Ca...

Cogni at the bottom with 168 GC petitions for 2015

And then look at this:

http://www.myvisajobs.com/Reports/2016-Green-Ca...

Cogni at the TOP with a whopping 7198 petitions!! All the rest of them are mostly same or below their filing averages compared to last year. No wonder we are dragged into this waiting mess just due to the greed of one organzation which decided to just take over and literally own the USCIS.
