Topic: No updates after I485 Approval Notice

Unfortunately this was what we got told a month ago when we went for an InfoPass for my wife. They said they will order the thing for production and we should get it shortly.

A month later, nothing has changed. Even the case status is frozen on "Your case was transferred on October 2007 blah blah"!

We'll take another InfoPass tomorrow.

My company pays the attorneys large sums of money, yet I am left to manage this thing totally on my own. Does that make sense???? How is having an attorney help me in anything??

Congrats! How long did it take to get the card since you got the 485 approved?

OK so this is the exact same situation of my wife now. They also refused to stamp her passport saying they only do if she has a travel itinerary.

I was expecting the online status to change, but it did not, and 8 days have passed with no card. These cards get mailed from Houston and we live in Houston, so I don't know really.

Go to the InfoPass website and get an appointment!! It was very easy for us in Houston since we got a next day appointment.

Topic: June approvals 2008

It's been 17 months and the embassy is not giving us more information other than the case is pending other government agencies. Even the office of the MP in Toronto has not been able to get any other info for us.

Topic: No updates after I485 Approval Notice

OK so we went to an InfoPass appointment 2 days ago after waiting for 55 days for the green card to arrive or for the status to change after the Biometrics.

It was a 10 minutes visit! They would NOT give my wife a stamp, but they told her that they will now order the production of the card!!

Why did we have to go there for them to order the card??? I asked if it was going to be ordered if we never went, and she said no. I don't get it. But I hope that now we get my wife's card in a week or 2.

Hang in there. My wife is in the same crap. I got my card 2 months ago and she is still waiting for hers. We called them several times and we even went to have my wife do another set of biometrics after the ones she did in February. All other dates are very similar to yours.

I guess we just have to wait. I might take her next week to get her passport stamped if the card has not arrived.

Cheers

Congrats track9!!

Any tips of what to do in order for my wife to get hers? She did her 2nd biometrics more than 2 weeks ago and no status updates even.

Thanks

Sure .. we'll try to call the FBI then USCIS now. Shouldn't our damn lawyer be doing those things???

Thanks

Topic: Boston ASC walk-in biometrics

I called the FBI last month and they did verify that they sent the all clear the same day they received the request, which was February 2!!!

FBI seem to not be the issue. Now if I call the FBI and they tell me that they also sent the second biometrics results the same day, how can I use this information? Should I then call the Customer Service and tell them (or swear to them by God) that the FBI have cleared the biometrics?

Thanks
