Topic: Processing Time Page Change

"Although most offices have already processed cases received during the 2007 filing surge, a handful of offices will have a small percentage of their 2007 cases pending at the end of Fiscal Year 2008. That will result in processing times longer than the 10-12 month national average. USCIS will continue to shift resources to ensure that all local offices achieve the goal of five month processing times."[/Q]

Topic: LOST PASSPORTS WITH IMMIGRANT VISA. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

hmmm....well you can keep posting here until November when you land, OR you can call CHC and ask them. Dont you think that would be better as they are the one who are going to have to handle the situation?

Thanks for your opinion.
I know I'm gonna have to call CIC but, I just want it to get an idea from someone here at the forum, if maybe in the same or similar situation.

Topic: LOST PASSPORTS WITH IMMIGRANT VISA. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Hi guys I need your advice on this. About 2 weeks ago I was moving out to another house and in the rush and the big mess of the moving, 2 of my daughters passports got lost. I can't find them anywhere and it's been 2 weeks now since them.
What should I do about it? obviously I'll have to get new passports for them, but what am I gonna do about the immigrant visas?.
We are planning to land by november and I do not think it is possible to do so without the visa. I just have their corp documents for landing but I don't know if that could be good enough.
Does anyone here ever been in the same or similar situation?
Please I need some advice from the experts. Thanks a lot!!

any advice guys?

Topic: AP and EAD, same envelopes??

Hi,

I am planning to renew my AP and EAD for myself and my wife.

1. Can I post all 4 application on one envelope(Fed-Ex)?
2. Online or paper application.. which one is the best and fastest option?

Thanks.

1.I would suggest you put everything in separate envelopes and together in the same mail envelope (if these are going to the same addresss only) make sure of that first.

2.I did online for AP and EAD at the same time, but some people here at the forum say paper based is faster. My AP was approved in 62 days and EAD still pending.

Hope this answer your questions. Good luck!!
