Yes I filed concurrently @ NBC and I have both receipt numbers starting with MSC but in my case,is 130 still in my local office or is it still pending at California service center?When you file concurrent,is 130 adjudicated at service center or at local office.I've made several infopasses but all have been for my 485 which at this point, according to NBC it makes no sense to request processing while 130 is still pending.I think I will wait till the end of Nov,if nothing happens,then I can make an infopas for 130 but not 485.Any info where 130s are adjudicated?Thanx alot. |

Hi folks,just wanted to share my experience when I spoke to IO @ NBC.mY 130/145 is pending since 2005 and I just decided to hear what they gonna tell me today.
IO;How can I help you?
Me;I wanted to follow up on whats going on on my pending 130 for 3 yrs,
IO;Wow thats a long time,you havent heard anything since 2005?
Me;I went for the interview in april 2006 and since then nothing,my wife has made several SR and all have been responded with 'actively processing'
IO;What I can do today is to put this case in the attention of examinations officer and if you can pls hold on,I will get right back to you...........
He kept me on hold for 5 good mins then came on back.
IO;What i've done for you is that I've forwarded this case,they will start working on your case after NOV 16th and hopefully this will trigger your approval letter.
He gave me a ref number ending in MSC................i dont know what that means.
Now I'm not sure but he said,'if you filed 130/485concurrent,it doesnt make any sense to make a service request for 485 alone.There is no way they can approve 485 while 130 is still pending.You should make service requests for 130,and after approval it will trigger the approval of your 485'
Well,I didn't know that.....Any one with any thoughts about this? |

We are on the same boat.I've been waiting for 3 yrs but last week I called NSC and the IO told me that I should be receiving Biometrics notice on the mail within the next 30 days.I actually wanted to write to ombdumans office before filing wom.Now that they are saying that they need my fingerprints,I wont file but its a good idea to do.Do you know if your fingerprints are still valid.I'm not sure what will be the next step after they get my fingerprints.Any idea?Stay calm..........hope is all we have left on us. |

Hi guys,just wanted to share this with you.I went for my second interview last week and got an RFE for Affivadit of support.The IO was very calm and we never got separated.I was separated on my Ist interview and I thought they would do the same this time round.The IO handed me a the RFE ad told me I have 60 days to respond or the case may be denied.Once I send the response,anyone who knows how long before they get back or timeflame? |

I would take that as ok coz it wasn't a denial.I had a friend who got an RFE like yours but him it was because he had been arrested b4.They needed his court disposition which he submitted.After 45 days he got approved.Its not a big deal man,just send what they need and you will get approved.Goodluck |
