Topic: Pakistani HSMP Applicants
I am waiting since last 90 days, i heard that this delay is due to some HO internal Restructuring. Actually HO got many asian employees who got sacked, last month, coz of corruption. This news i heard from some resources in UK.
So this delay might be due to that reason. But still its ridiculous, they r not responding on emails/phones etc.
Anyways Lets hope for the best. |

Topic: Does Removal from UK have an effect on Entry Clearance after approval? ( A Unique Case )
Hi All
Its really unique situation might have not occurred with any of trackitt user. But please reply to this question if somebody got knowledge about EC in this situation.
My friend got HSMP approval in 32 days. He is living in Pakistan since last two years, working with a very re-known and well established UK based IT company in Lahore.
Actually he went to UK on student visa (2004 to 2006). Worked and studied 2 years in UK. As he was working as a Contractor with some Blue Chip IT companies in London, earned very good money. Probably he was getting £25/h. He used to come back Pakistan after every 5 months (On Completion of Contract). College where he was studying was not a recognized college.
Let me say candidly what he was actually doing, partially studying, but was just doing Contract job to earn money.
Upon his last arrival on Heathrow Airport, immigration officer hold his passport and gave him temporary admission for 20 days which was further extended to 3 months. During those 3 months, immigration team was investigating the money he earned. He was called by Heathrow Immigration for interview 3 times. It was a long story, what has happened in those interviews, I won’t take more time. Bottom line is, his visa got cancelled by immigration officer and he was detained in his 3rd interview, because he was working more than allowed hours (20h/week). He spent 10 days in detention centre then got bail. He had no money to defend his case so he took decision to come back. In the beginning of 2006 he came back to Pakistan. Actually he was not deported from UK, was removed. So he came back in given time. Immigration returned his passport on airport when he was ready to come back.
Now he got HSMP Approval, he is very excited. Obviously it would be a great achievement to him if he would go back to UK. During EC, on VAF1 he has to declare, he was removed from UK. I am really concerned to know, Does his removal is going to effect on his HSMP EC, after approval? Please share if somebody knows the answer………………..
Thanks
