Hi, Thanks for posting this. I called the Rep of my state and left a message and was told by his staff that they will inform him about sponsoring HR213

Topic: EB1-OR evaluation

Thanks. I guess I will just continue with EB2, I don't think I will be motivated enough to work on EB1B after knowing this. I suspected that my case was weak but the lawyers I have been sending my resume to, have been positive. I guess they know they will get the money, whether I get my GC or not.
Thats why I wanted another opinion from an unbiased source who doesn't benefit financially!
With a PD in 2013, hopefully I will get it by 2018-2019 using the normal EB2. And with all the changes they SEEM to e wanting to make, who knows thing will become better by themselves:)

3 citations (one of which is self cited). I am not sure of getting letters to prove international acclaim. I know a few people here n there but mostly colleagues/friends who might write 'nice things'
Thanks for the help!

Topic: EB1-OR evaluation

Thanks for your comments, The problem is my company lawyer wants to play it safe and has applied in EB2- which basically means a wait for couple of years. So if I have to try - I first will have to convince my HR to hire another lawyer and file EB1B (and who knows pay on my own).
So I want to go ahead only if my case is strong enough (at least >50% chance)

Topic: EB1-OR evaluation

I would like to evaluate my chances of EB1B. I am working as Scientist in a company since 2012. I have:
PhD Food Science from a first tier university (US)
four publications - one from masters (India), two from PhD, one very recent based on my current work at the company
one conference paper
couple of internal (university) papers during PhD
one award at the university - best paper
three citations
my work was published in 3 major trade publications of my field
I have reviewed 6-7 papers
I am in editorial board of a recently started journal in my field (by invitation)
What are my chances please? Also what can I improve to increase my chances in future?

Topic: EAD for H4 Visa Holders

Guys
The proposed rule for H4 EAD is under DHS and OIRA - in below url

http://www.reginfo.gov/public/do/eAgendaViewRul...

This rule has been sitting there from atleast a year with no movement. And I dont think this EO has anything to do with it. So its just matter of time (wait game) before H4 EADs will be approved.

Actually there has been some movement on this rule in 2014. Comments were requested between may to July, i think. Though after comments nothing has transpired
