Topic: L2 Visa - a question

Hi,

I am here in US with L2 visa. Now i have got my EAD and looking for a job.
My husband works here in an IT company.

My question is if my husband's company send him back to our home country, am I eligible to stay in US and work(provided I do not go out of US, so there is no question of re-entry)?

Hold your breath buddy. I also gone thru this in NBC. I applied on Mar 12th. I got that EAD in hand on Aug 13th..after 5 months.

Topic: Re-entry to USA with L1, after landing to Canada

Hi,

My spouse and I are having L1,Blanket(Multiple entry) and L2 visa respectively and staying in USA for past 6 months.
Our I-94 and Visa both are valid till Dec 2009.
In Nov 2008 we are expecting our Canadian PR to come and to validate that we need to cross the US-Canada border.
My question is : will we face any issues while coming back to USA with same visa and I-94. Because we are supposed to come back here as we are working here.

Hi hnks,
same thing happened to me when I called them last time. I was at my 128th day. They told me to call them back after 30 days then they will open a SR for me. Thank God! I got my EAD before that....otherwise calling USCIS and then waiting...seems to be a never-ending process for me.

Hi,
Today I received the EAD card. It says "NOT VALID FOR RE ENTRY". What does it mean actually? I have Visa and EAD validity upto Dec 2009. If I visit another country say Canada in the meantime say in Nov,2008 and then re-entry in US the EAD will not be valid then? Confused.......
