well I am hoping as well. My name check was cleared from last 2.5 years , I have no ideal what kind of backgrounds check I was stuck in .hopefully I will get call for my 2nd interview soon.

Hi Guys

In past I made few SR and got response saying " Backgrounds checks pending"

Few days back i made another service request and got a response saying " We are actively processing yours case however we have to perform additional review on this case"


So, I am wondering is that mean my backgrounds checks are completed and they need some time to review it ? How long usually it takes for additional review ? or its just another B**t

well I got call from uscis in march and that time the # showed on my cell phone it was " 202" so it could be possibe its from uscis.

Topic: EAD Applied more than 120 days in Adance by mistake

Dont worry it happened with me too my EAD was going to expire on may 30th and I apply for renewal on Jan 8 . it was 4 months 22 days before the orignal expire but you know what my 2nd time EAD got approved on march 10.

so i dont think there will be any problem.

Well I came on B2 visa . I am from India. I got married with maxican girl . she is US citizen . We applied for my green card in Jan , 2006 got Interview in July 2006 in local office .. Interview went well . immigration officer told us case will be continue for backgrounds checks . since that day i havent heard anything from them . i made few service request , infopasses and senator .. but all saying case is on hold for backgounds checks.
