Topic: Quick question for everyone!!!

What????
Why??
I don't deserve such thing!!
I just finally got a receipt for my I-485 on 3/18/08, no, interview noooo!!!!
I know other people who have 4/30/01 and did not have a interview, actually everyone I know had a 4/30/01 date , and did not get an interview, as a matter of the fact they had their cases approved a month after their (only one)biometrics

Can you explain it better!
Sorry!

Thanks!

Topic: HELP FROM GURUS!!!!

I went to the Social Security OFFICE to apply for my SS w/ my brand new EAD, the agent told me that the A# on the card was to matching with the immigration system.
So this is what the letter says:

Before we can issue you a Social Security Card, we must verify the documents you gave us to show you citizenship or a alien status with the Federal, State, or local office in the United States that issued the documents. This may take up to 8 weeks.

Have you heard of such a thing????
Why my A# would not match??
Any Ideas???

Oh, But at the end of the letter says: If you are not a U.S. citizen and you are applying for a Social Security # card for employment purposes and your immigration status allows you to work, you may legally begin employment while you await issuance of a Social Security card. You cannot work if you immigration status does not authorize you to do so.

Please any Ideas!

PS: The primary applicant is my husband.

Topic: 13 days, its great man

Apply for what????
You just sit and wait my friend???
If you got a email, saying "EAD Card Ordered", it means it's all done!
Just wait for you EAD, and your appointment letter, for you Biometrics?

I applied concurrent/paper based, and I applied with P.A.

Please clarify when you said, "I need to apply for mine within this week."

Good Luck!
